I followed numerous recommendations to check out Pattye’s threads and while it was the color selection that drew me in, now that I’ve tried a few I’m surprised at how much I like it! I’m apparently unusual in that I like the high-energy twist of certain carded silk cords, so the idea of slick, balanced polyester just didn’t really appeal to me… but when all of the best knotters you can find are raving about the same material, you give it a shot. I’m very glad I did, and have already heard from some clients who appreciate the fact that it’s vegan-friendly as well. Even in the thickest sizes I still need to use multiple strands for many of the gemstone beads I like to use, but this is far less prone to impossible snarls than silk can be. I’ll definitely be back for more!
